Lending Library Committee
Fishing for HR information?Check out the books and tapes in the EIHRA Lending Library!
EIHRA Members can check out Human Resource materials from the EIHRA Lending Library.
The Library strives to select the best representative materials in a subject area. Materials are purchased upon the recommendation of EIHRA Members who have found the materials to be useful, or upon the recommendation of an EIHRA Committee that has researched the subject area.
The Lending Library is a valuable resource for EIHRA Members (1) who want to learn more about an HR topic; or (2) who want to review materials recommended by other HR professionals to determine if they want to use the materials for their organization's in-house training or programs.
The Library materials are for the use of EIHRA Members only, any use of the materials outside of EIHRA or its Members violates copyright law and is prohibited (see copyright agreement below).
Items Available To Borrow
Initially, the Lending Library is offering books and tapes on Diversity; but materials on various other HR topics will be added by EIHRA Committees from time to time.

Check Out Procedures
To borrow an item, contact the EIHRA Librarian and provide the information requested on the Check Out Form. You can telephone, e-mail, fax or mail your request to:

- You can have the item mailed to you by paying the $5.00 mailing cost in advance; or you can pick up the item at Fisher Group
- Items are lent for 3 weeks
- You can request an additional 3 weeks extension by calling or e-mailing the Librarian
- Extension requests will be denied if there is a waiting list for the item
- If the item you request is checked out, you will be put on a waiting list and you will be notified when the item is available
- If you lose or damage the item you will be charged the replacement cost
The EIHRA Lending Library materials are for the use of EIHRA Members only and may not be used by other businesses or organizations. EIHRA Members may not:
- duplicate or sell the material
- use the material in a workshop, conference or training program outside of EIHRA or within the Member's organization
- exhibit the material to the public for a fee or no fee
- exhibit the material to non-EIHRA employees within the Member's organization for a fee or no fee
